My name is Rafael Barash and I'm a Senior majoring in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota. I'm passionate about machine learning and big data analytics, as well as full-stack web development. In the fall I will start as a Software Engineer at Google in Seattle. Minnesota Club Tennis and slack-lining are also pretty cool.

Election processing system in C++ that lets you select ballot data through a GUI, processes the data, and summarizes. School project.

Used by the U of Minnesota to host descriptions of open access urban data sets collected by a network of international researchers.

Braitenberg Vehicle Simulation

Simulated robots exhibiting behaviors like aggression and love towards external stimuli to produce complex behavior. School project.

Terminal Chat Room

Chat room with a central server handling any client entering, commenting in the chat, and leaving. School project.

ML Diabetes Risk Dashboard

A dashboard where users can login to see their health data and diabetes risk. Data visualized with Chart.js and risk model built with TensorFlow. Hackathon project.

A machine learning attempt to predict results of march madness matchups, based on years of regular season and tourney data.

Planet Wars Strategy

Given a planet wars game engine, my friend and I created a strategy in Java to take over the solar system. Mwuahahaha! School project.
